Friends of a policeman and his wife who died in a murder-suicide on Saturday, yesterday took to Facebook to express their shock and disgust at the incident.
Latoya 'Restaurant' Campbell-Thompson, 27, was killed by her husband Constable Davian 'Flippy' Thompson, 31, on Saturday at their Oaklands apartment complex in St Andrew. Flippy, who is on suspension for shooting, was found clutching an illegal weapon with a gunshot wound to the head yesterday.
Their wailing friends, many of whom knew them both, expressed how they felt and some even questioned the possible reasons why things between the couple had to end like this, while offering condolences and sympathies to their son, now an orphan.
Don Pro Bookings Drummond said, "Why Flippy ? Why? Jah know star ... look how mi talk to yuh yute!"

Constable Thompson is accused of waiting for his wife at home, and after she arrived allegedly by a taxi, he then opened fire hitting her twice in the leg and head before fleeing.
