Three men have been charged in connection with the murder of a teenager in St Catherine earlier this month.

Those charged are André Doyly, Joel Lennox and a 14-year-old boy all of Ewarton addresses in St Catherine.

It was revealed that 17-year-old Cleo-Lisa Griffiths was stabbed more than 20 times.

The revelation was made in the Linstead Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Remanded

Doyly and Lennox were ordered remanded until March 11.

Meanwhile, the juvenile is to appear in the St Catherine Children's Court on Monday.

Resident Magistrate Llyle Armstrong ruled that the men remain in police custody until their next appearance.

Allegations are that on January 6, Griffiths' mutilated body with its throat slashed was found in bushes at Charlton Meadows, Ewarton, St Catherine.

An investigation by Detective Corporal Lloyd Knight of the Ewarton police resulted in the men being charged with rape and murder.
