Three men are now in police custody after a 9mm pistol and 16 rounds of ammunition were recovered during an operation on St John's Road, Spanish Town, St Catherine, yesterday.
According to the Corporate Communications Unit, the Spanish Town police were on an operation in the area between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. when premises were searched and the firearm and ammunition recovered.
The men's identities are being withheld pending further investigation.
