A Jamaican man has been identified as the gunman at the centre of a murder-suicide, which occurred on Sunday, inside Home Depot located in Manhattan, New York.

According to http://ift.tt/1zUtlQv, Calvin Esdaile Jr, otherwise called 'Kirk', has been identified as the suspected shooter in a murder-suicide at a Chelsea Home Depot store in Manhattan at about 2:40 p.m. on Sunday.

Reports are that Esdaile shot his 38-year-old supervisor, Moctar Sy, three times before turning the gun on himself.

When the police arrived on the scene, Esdaile was pronounced dead, while his supervisor was rushed to the hospital, however, despite efforts by doctors, he was later pronounced dead.

Police at the store recovered a .38 calibre revolver.

Allegations are that he had been recently fired from Home Depot.
