A St Elizabeth man was on Tuesday offered bail when he appeared in the Santa Cruz Resident Magistrate's Court on the charge of unlawful wounding.

Reports are that on August 11, 2014, 31-year-old Clayton Officer went to a bar in Comma Pen where he saw a man with whom he had a matter in court.

Officer was subsequently taken into custody, charged, and taken before the courts.

He was offered bail in the amount of $200,000 and is to report to the Nain Police Station on Sundays between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. He was ordered to surrender all travel documents and a stop order placed at all ports of entry.
