Pastor listed as wanted man - Urged to turn himself in by tomorrow


Police last night listed a pastor as a wanted man.


The Morant Bay police said 36-year-old Daniel Findlay, a minister of religion, of Lower York district, St Thomas, is wanted.


A release from the police information arm, the Corporate Communication Unit (CCU), said Findlay is wanted under the Sexual Offences Act for three counts of sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years old and one count of grievous sexual assault.


Findlay is of dark complexion, slim build, and is about 163 centimetres (5 feet 4 inches) tall the CCU said. It added that he is known to frequent Danvers Pen and Pear Tree River districts in St Thomas.


Findlay is being asked to turn himself in to the police by 10 a.m. tomorrow.


The police are also asking anyone knowing his whereabouts to contact the Morant Bay police at 982-2686, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
