The St Ann police have issued a warning about counterfeit notes that they believe are being circulated in the Ocho Rios, St Catherine, area.
The serial numbers on the counterfeit notes are:

XC211841
VS578437
XM503076
YF909290
The police are urging members of the public to make proper checks in ensuring that bank notes being collected are legitimate.
In the meantime, the Ocho Rios police are also asking anyone with information that can assist the police in their investigations to contact them at 974-2469, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
