For Nardica Newell, a pre-school teacher from Old Harbour, St Catherine, Valentine's Day was going to be an easy-going date with her long-time boyfriend, Kevaughn Bailey at Pizza Hut.

Little did she know that he had big plans up his sleeve; plans that had become extra special with a little help from Digicel.

After seeing a post on Digicel's Facebook page for an Extraordinary Proposal competition, Kevaughn submitted his love story, describing how he planned to pop the question. With his quirky idea of a pizza box proposal and tear-jerking words of love, he won the hearts of the Digicel social media team.

"When we saw Kevaughn's entry, we were just moved by how simple and genuine it was - we knew this could only be true love," Senior Marketing Executive, Social Media, at Digicel, Shaun Birch said.

In cahoots with Reggae artiste Keznamdi and Digicel, Kevaughn gave Nardica the surprise of her life inside the Pizza Hut restaurant in Angels Plaza, St Catherine. Delivering a long-stemmed red rose to the unsuspecting Nardica, Keznamdi proceeded to serenade her until he was interrupted by Kevaughn, who went down on one knee to propose, revealing his ring cleverly hidden inside a pizza box.

She said yes!

"I don't have words to describe how I feel right now," shared a blissful Nardica. "I had no idea he was going to propose at all. I'm so surprised."
