In a move to brighten the holiday season for its players, Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) has increased the maximum jackpot that can be won in the Top Draw game each day until Christmas Eve, in its Santa's Top Draw promotion.
The Top Draw daily maximum jackpot has been increased to two million dollars.
The starting Top Draw Jackpot has also been doubled for this period, with the 8:30 a.m. jackpot set at $400,000 each day. The Top Draw jackpot will roll by $400,000 after each draw, if there is no winner. If there are no winners of the five game draws daily, the jackpot can climb to as high as two million dollars leading up to Christmas Eve.
In less than a year, more than 730,000 Jamaicans have won prizes playing the Top Draw game, with hundreds of these players being jackpot winners. Since the start of the game, more than $300M has been paid out.
Real boost
Paul Waysome, the first winner of $1,600,000 in the Santa's Top Draw promotion, was excited about being a winner. Waysome said: "I feel great! I have been playing Top Draw since it just come in. I won't stop following it up, especially now that I am a winner. This is a real boost for the Christmas."
An elated Sonia Davidson, SVL's vice-president of Group Corporate Communications, spoke about Top Draw's Christmas promotion. "Everyone deserves a bonus this Christmas, so SVL decided to give back to our players this holiday season by giving them the opportunity to win double the normal daily jackpot while playing Top Draw.," she said.
The Top Draw game was launched on June 25 this year, and players choose five numbers from a field of 22 numbers (numbers ranging from 1-22). The cost of a wager is $50. The lottery draws five numbers, and players matching all five numbers will win the jackpot for the draw. Players who match four and three numbers will also win subsidiary prizes.
