A Denham Town, west Kingston woman, accused of robbing a man of his cell phone, was hauled before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
Charged with robbery with aggravation is Tiffany Miller.
The court heard that on Sunday, May 11, Miller, along with a man held up and robbed the complainant of his Digicel DL 600 cell phone. They both beat and battered the complainant before taking the device from his possession.
They also threatened him to not go to the police.
The male suspect eventually sent back the phone to the complainant, while Miller was arrested and taken into custody. She then asked the police not to proceed criminally. She is to return to court on June 4.
