Woman faces court for allegedly stabbing teen

A woman accused of using a knife to stab a 13-year-old boy in his head was told to return to court on June 10 as the medical report was outstanding.

When the matter was called up yesterday in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court the accused Latoya Green, pleaded not guilty.

Green is charged with unlawful wounding.

The court heard that the teenage boy was hit in his head before a knife was used to stab him.

Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey asked Green, "Did you stab him?"

Green's response was, "No your Honour".

A fingerprint order was subsequently made and Green ordered to return to court next month.
