A Jamaican national living in the United States has filed a lawsuit outlining allegations of inappropriate sexual advances towards her by a superior at her workplace.
Reports are that the Jamaican native, a 46-year-old security guard, filed a lawsuit against managers at her place of employment in New York City.
According to the suit, which was filed in Federal Court recently, she alleges that she was sexually harassed, suffering discrimination as a result of her nationality.
Male supervisors
According to a report in the Daily News (New York), the Jamaican woman's lawsuit alleges that one of her male supervisors, while giving her a ride home, urged her to perform various sexual acts.
Her superior reportedly threatened her job while coaxing her to "pleasure him with her hands".
It was reported that the supervisor allegedly stopped the vehicle on a dimly lit street, reclined his seat, unzipped his pants and "physically forced" the complainant to pleasure him.
THE STAR gathered that in the suit, it is alleged that she was warned by another guard while being interviewed for the job that a manager was known to mistreat Caribbean immigrants, especially those from Jamaica.
