The police are reporting that one man has been taken into custody in connection with the murder of Police Constable Collin Raynor, who was shot dead in Hartland, Spanish Town, St Catherine, last Saturday.
Reports are that Raynor was at a pond with his brother, when armed men approached them and shot them several times, before they fled the scene. The police were summoned and both men were taken to hospital where Raynor was pronounced dead and his brother admitted in serious condition.
The police are asking anyone with information that can assist with their investigation to contact the Spanish Town police at 984-2305, Crime Stop at 311, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
