The Trelawny police have in custody a man accused of hacking his brother to death.
THE STAR understands that the two had been embroiled in a dispute allegedly over a bicycle.
The dead man has been identified as 44-year-old labourer Lincoln 'Yellow' Barrett, of Duanvale.
Our news team gathered that the two had a physical confrontation yesterday, in Duanvale. During the fight, a machete was brought into play. Barrett, the elder of the two siblings, died after he was reportedly chopped in the head and neck.
There were reports that the younger brother was of unsound mind, however, members of the community are refuting that claim.
The police investigations are ongoing.
