The St Catherine North police are searching for persons responsible for the murder of a man in Spanish Town, St Catherine, yesterday.
He is Wadeworth Briscoe, otherwise, called Biggs, 23-year-old labourer of March Pen Road, Spanish Town, St Catherine.
Reports are that about 11:20 a.m., residents of March Pen Road, near the Spanish Town Shopping Centre, heard explosions.
The police were summoned to the scene. Upon their arrival, Briscoe's body was found with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds inside the house he occupied.
As news of his death spread, scores of onlookers converged on the scene and expressed shock.
The police said that no motive has been established for Briscoe's killing.
