Bahamian authorities have arrested a Jamaican woman and one of their own citizens on suspicion of prostitution.
THE STAR understands that a nightclub owner was also arrested during the raid, which took place last weekend.
The names of the accused persons are being withheld pending further investigation.
According to reports, police acting on intelligence went to the nightclub establishment located at Bay Street and Victoria Avenue.
THE STAR gathered that sometime after 1 a.m. last Saturday, the police raided the nightclub where they met the Jamaican woman with a female Bahamian national suspected of being there for the purpose of prostitution.
They were arrested and are scheduled to face the courts this week.
