A St Catherine woman who allegedly conspired to rob a man who she met on Facebook was taken into police custody last night, after she was arrested for her part in the plot.
Reports are that last Friday, the victim was invited out by the woman after leaving work. She reportedly sent text messages to persons to 'rob' the complainant who was later held up at knifepoint.
His attackers relieved him of his cellular phone, $7,000 and other valuables.
The man reported the matter to the police and an investigation was launched.
It was revealed that the police have taken the female suspect's phone from which information is being gleaned.
The woman's name has been withheld by the police pending further investigations.
