THE PEOPLE'S OPINION...EBOLA IS POPULATION CONTROL?


Bail in the sum of $80,000 was offered to a man, who broke a woman's leg while they were at a wake.


Charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm is Clement Brown, who appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.


The Crown alleges that on October 19, the complainant and the accused had a dispute while they were at a wake. The complainant threw a bottle at the accused during the dispute. While the complainant was on her way home, the accused attacked her throwing a stone which broke her right leg.


The matter was set for mention on November 14 for the liaison officer to obtain a statement from the complainant, who is in hospital.
