Labour ministry extends PATH collection options

The Ministry of Labour and Social Security has extended several other options of collection to the beneficiaries of PATH.

A representative from the ministry revealed at the St Thomas Parish Council meeting last Thursday that persons can now access their PATH benefits at Bill Express and Paymaster offices across the island.

Previously, benefits could only be collected through the National Commercial Bank and at post offices.

The representative explained that a text message with a special code is generated and sent out once the payments are lodged, enabling persons to make collections.

Beneficiaries are being urged to keep their records and contact information up to date at the Ministry of Labour in order to receive texts with accurate information as benefits will not be dispensed without the correct code.
