A store clerk was robbed at gunpoint of $1.2 million in Santa Cruz, St Elizabeth, yesterday.
Reports from the Santa Cruz police are that about 12 p.m., the man was about to lodge the money at a bank in the town when a gunman approached him on foot, robbed him, and escaped in a grey Toyota motor car.
The Santa Cruz police are appealing to anyone who may have information that can assist them in apprehending the culprit to call them at 966-2289, police 119 emergency, or the nearest police station.
