A preliminary enquiry has been set in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court for July 7-9 into the matter in which Special Constable Leighton Rose has been charged with the murder of Orange Villa cookshop operator, Robert Jackson.
His attorney, Carolyn Reid-Cameron, requested that material she has yet to receive in relation to the case be submitted to her.
In Rose's first appearance in court in February, Terrence Williams, head of the Independent commission of Investigations (INDECOM) had outlined that on the day of the incident, Rose was allegedly pursuing an individual, when Jackson came out to discard garbage.
Witnesses said Jackson was unarmed and that Rose went into the kitchen and shot him. Witnesses are also claiming that Rose returned to his vehicle with a bag claiming he had discovered a firearm.
Rose is out on $300,000 bail and is expected to appear on the dates set for the enquiry.
