Two men are now in custody at the Morant Bay Police Station in St Thomas following a brutal attack on a woman that left her in critical condition in the hospital.
Reports are that the police are now probing allegations that the suspects in the attack were hitmen.
It is further alleged that the suspects carried out the attack last Saturday, while the woman was having a bath.
The Star understands that the woman who is from Lyssons in St.Thomas was in her bathroom when two men entered her home and attacked her with knives. She sustained multiple injuries and was rushed to hospital where she was admitted.
