JPS introduces new-look bill


As part of the current rollout of the JPS service upgrade to a new Customer Information System (CIS), the company will, this month, introduce its new-look bill.


This comes as a part of the suite of changes arising from the implementation of the new CIS. The implementation will also eventually enable faster reconnections, fewer estimated bills, personalised service and quicker resolutions to customer issues.

The new-look bill is pressure-sealed and represents the direction in which many modern companies have gone. The new pressure-sealed bills will continue to provide customers with the critical information they were accustomed to on their previous bills. These include: balance brought forward, payment, current charges, total amount due, energy 1st and next, fuel and IPP charges and the electricity usage trend graph, which gives customers a visual representation of their usage over a period of 12 months.


Customers are reminded that they may opt not to receive printed bills by signing up to receive their bills via email. Requests for e-bills may be done by calling the JPS Customer Care Centre at: 1-888-225-5577 for Lime customers and 1-888-935-5577 for Digicel customers.
