A man accused of stealing a pair of sneakers from a shoe store located in Cross Roads, Kingston, had his bail extended when he appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.

Charged with simple larceny is Dwayne Christie, who pleaded not guilty to the offence.

Allegations are that on June 17, the accused man allegedly made his way into the store and was accosted by security personnel as he attempted to make off with the pair of shoes without paying.

Subsequently, the accused man had his bail extended by Resident Magistrate Simone Wolfe-Reece. He is to reappear in court on November 4 for a mention hearing.
