When the matter came up, the resident magistrate ordered that they be remanded to reappear in court on July 25.

On June 20, 2014, about 2 a.m., Lyn was in bed sleeping when he was attacked and stabbed repeatedly by both accused. He died as a result of injuries received.

Investigation by Detective Corporal André Smith of the Old Harbour police resulted in both men being charged with murder.
