Dancehall artiste Merciless says he is still reeling from the death of his wife, who was found unresponsive at her home in Longsville Park, Clarendon, last Friday.
When contacted yesterday, the artiste, whose real name is Leonard Bartley, said he could not speak and referred THE STAR to the police.
"I can't even talk. I don't have any more tears left. Is my wife that! Mi bruck down bad," he said, explaining that he and his wife had been married for nearly three years.
According to reports from the police, Keisha Gibbs-Bartley was found at her Clarendon home about 11 a.m. by a neighbour, who allegedly observed her in distress.
The neighbour alerted the police and fire personnel from the Old Harbour Fire Station. The police said they are treating the incident as a sudden death until the investigation is concluded.
