The St Andrew South Police seized a firearm and arrested an alleged robber on West Main Drive, Kingston 20, on Thursday.
Reports from the Olympic Gardens Police are that about 4 a.m., two men were allegedly robbing passengers aboard a minibus when it was intercepted by lawmen who were on patrol in the area.
The men attempted to elude the police after disembarking the bus.
However, one was caught, and a Beretta 9mm pistol, with thirteen 9mm rounds of ammunition, was found in his possession.
The other assailant escaped. The passengers on the minibus were not hurt. Investigations continue.
