Court hears that ... Oral sex quarrel leads to stabbing

A man who wanted his money returned after he paid a woman to have oral sex with him, has found himself on the wrong side of the law.

The man, a construction worker/farmer, is accused of using a bottle to stab the woman's friend after a dispute developed.

On Thursday when the matter was called up in the Corporate Area Resident's Magistrate's Court, the accused, who is charged with unlawful wounding, pleaded not guilty.

The court heard that on November 30, the accused allegedly used a bottle to stab the complainant in her face because she intervened in a dispute between him and her friend. The incident reportedly took place at a bar in Lawrence Tavern, St Andrew.

Could not be found

"Your Honour, I was waiting for my friend to leave and she could not be found. I later saw her with him (the accused). He was holding her up say she get pay for a blow job and after she did it, him want back him money," the complainant told the court.

She further stated that; "Mi go call mi boyfriend. Him start chuck him and dem get in a little fight and then people hold on to mi boyfriend. Then next thing when mi look him come up to me and use the bottle and stab mi inna mi face."

Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey ordered that the accused man's fingerprints be taken. The matter is again set for mention on March 14 as the medical report was still outstanding.
