DEEJAY'S HOME ROBBED OF $10M JEWELLERY

One man has been taken in custody by the Spanish Town police in connection with a multimillion dollar jewellery theft from a popular entertainer.


The latest incident has rocked the entertainment industry, as the jewellery stolen is believed to be worth more than $10 million.


The entertainer is said to live in Portmore, St Catherine.

TheStar was informed that on November 27, a group of men posing as Jamaica Public Service employees went to the home of the entertainer.


It is alleged that the men reportedly went inside the house and removed a chest.


The chest contained the entertainer's jewellery valued at about $10.5 million. It is said that the hoodlums escaped with the loot.


Investigation under way


The Spanish Town police have confirmed the incident and informed TheStar that an investigation has been launched in the matter.
