A man who allegedly killed a dog, then used its blood to sprinkle on human bones and a skull inside his room is now in police custody.
Reports are that last Thursday, the police were summoned to a section of Kitson Town, St Catherine.
A team responded and was greeted with a gruesome sight.
"We saw what would make a horror movie look peaceful. The man used a chain to tie the dog neck and used rope to tie all the limbs, he then splits the chest," a policeman said.
The Star was told that the man then collected the blood and sprinkled it inside his house. It is reported that he took out the canine's heart and placed it inside a refrigerator.
The police also found a book on the occult in his possession.
When The Star consulted the Guanaboa Vale police, it was revealed that the man has been arrested on suspicion of cruelty to animal.
