Alleged killer tells cops

One of the persons implicated in the death of an unidentified woman in New Haven in Duhaney Park, St Andrew, is claiming to be a devil worshipper, the police say.
"Well, that is his account. I don't know if it's a situation where he is mentally disturbed, but he appears to be normal," the policeman, who also said he could not psychoanalyse the accused man, stated.
The police also said that persons have been taken into custody in relation to this alleged killing, but no charges have so far been laid as investigations are ongoing.
"There are other persons who might be complicit in the crime so we have to be looking at that," he pointed out.
Social media
The male accused is said to have met the woman, believed to be between 19 and 21 years old, on the social media site, Facebook.
"They would have communicated through social media but contact was provided by a friend of his who is not really involved, he merely provided contact particulars for the girl. They would have been communicating via text messages and telephone. We have to be analysing the phone," the policeman revealed.
He added that after contact was made with the girl, she went to his house.
Eventually, she was later found dead last Wednesday in a shallow grave with evidence of strangulation, stab wounds and blunt-force trauma to the face.
The body is of brown complexion, medium build, has processed hair and about 5'4" long.
It was clad in a black and gold female jersey with the number 85 printed on it.
The body was also wrapped in a yellow raincoat when it was discovered.
"This guy is claiming something. This was totally unprovoked," reasoned the policeman.
