Vendor killed in St James


No motive has yet been established for the killing of a vendor by an unknown assailant at the intersection of Fustic Road and Railway Lane in St James on Monday.


Dead is 52-year-old Byron Cameron, otherwise called 'Carba', of Blackshop, Flamstead in St James.


Reports from the police are that shortly before 3 p.m. on Monday afternoon, Cameron was allegedly selling ground provision at the intersection, when an armed man approached him.


Shots were heard and Cameron was hit. He died on the spot.


Investigations continue.
