Hard sex leads to beating

A woman who complained to a man she was having sex with, that he was doing it too hard, received the shock of her life when the man stopped having intercourse and began beating her.

The revelation was made in the Whithorn Resident Magistrate's Court where the man, Yearn Wright, a car wash operator, appeared charged with assault. Wright was fined $20,000 or six months imprisonment by Resident Magistrate Sheron Barnes.

The court erupted in laughter several times while the facts were outlined and both parties spoke about what transpired between them. The court heard that on the night of March 22, Wright visited an exotic club in Darliston, Westmoreland, and engaged the services of the complainant, a dancer, to do "business".

The complainant told the court that she was the one who rented the room and put the condom on Wright. She revealed that during intercourse "him start go hard" and she told him to stop and check on the condom.

Aggressive

Wright, she said, refused, became aggressive and beat her with his hand and then with a padlock he got from her bag. She sustained bruises and a cut to her head which she said prevented her from working for some days.

Wright pleaded guilty telling the court that it was his first visit to the club "for me nuh go out a night". He however agreed to pay the complainant $50,000 in compensation. He was the fined by RM Barnes.
