The Manchester police have charged a 16-year-old and 18-year-old Anthony Forbes of Mile Gully, Manchester, with attempted murder and conspiracy to murder.
Reports from the Mandeville police are that the suspects were arrested following a probe into reports of a missing 16-year-old, who left for school on February 11, and did not return home. Following thorough investigations into the matter, on February 13, the police were led to a cave in Newhall district, Manchester, where the teen was found suffering from multiple stab wounds and burns to his body.
The teen, who was found 516 feet underground, was removed from the cave and admitted at the Mandeville Regional Hospital for treatment.
Following further investigations, the 16-year-old and Forbes were arrested and charged. They will appear before the Resi-dent Magistrate's Court tomorrow.
Investigations continue.
