Residents are blaming the flare up of violence in Majesty Gardens, more popularly known as 'Back To', on a division between a group of youngsters who are at odds since earlier this month, THE STAR understands.
Information reaching our news team is that the police are probing two fatal shootings, which occurred hours apart, in the inner-city community between Sunday night and yesterday morning.
THE STAR understands that investigators have made a connection in the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Ricardo 'Prince' Finley and Rupert 'Ray' Robinson, who were shot and killed in separate incidents in the community less than 12 hours apart.
THE STAR gathered that growing tension now exists in the area, forcing the police to carry out regular patrols.

Reports are that in the first incident on Sunday, Finley was chased, shot and killed by his attackers.
The police were again summoned to a scene in another section of the community yesterday, where Robinson was shot and killed by unknown assailants.
When THE STAR contacted the Hunts Bay police, a source close to the investigation revealed that Robinson's death might have been a reprisal for Finley's murder.
The St Andrew South police are investigating.
