27-y-o male facing ganja rap

Twenty-seven-year-old Yoshiki Matsuda of Glebe Crescent, Kingston 10, will know his fate when he faces the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on March 13, after he was found in possession of ganja in his community on Tuesday.

Reports from the Half-Way Tree police are that about 9:10 p.m., a team of officers were conducting a Vehicular Check Point operation when Matsuda, who was walking along the roadway, was accosted and searched. Six parcels containing ganja wrapped in transparent bags were found in a black and purple bag which was being carried around his neck. He was subsequently arrested and charged for the find.
