A policeman who was involved in a traffic accident yesterday in Kingsland District in Manchester has succumbed to injuries sustained, THE WEEKEND STAR understands.
The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Constable Christopher Foster.
THE WEEKEND STAR gathered that Foster lived in Kingsland District and was attached to the Clarendon police Division.
Reports reaching our news desk are that about 9 a.m., Foster was travelling along the Kingsland main road in Manchester when he lost control of his Honda motor vehicle.
Our news team understands the vehicle then collided with a trailer parked along the side of the roadway.
The police say their colleague was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
