A woman who allegedly stole a wedding ring and sold it in the 'Cash for Gold' trade was remanded when she appeared in the Court yesterday.
Charged with simple larceny is Alician Notice of Spanish Town, St Catherine.
Allegations are that on September 3, the accused went to a relative's home. While there, she reportedly stole a wedding ring and took it to Half Way Tree, where she sold it for $10,000.
An investigation was launched, which resulted in Notice being charged with simple larceny.
She is scheduled to reappear in court on October 30, when the matter will again be mentioned.
