Police investigators in the St Catherine North division are still searching for the persons responsible for the death of a man whose body was found on Sunday.
The dead man has been identified as Elmondo Lyew, 39-year-old farmer of Kitson Town, St Catherine.
Reports are that at about 8 a.m., residents of the community stumbled on Lyew's body inside the house he occupied.
The Star was told that he was last seen by a relative on Wednesday.
It is revealed that the body had what appeared to be gunshot and stab wounds.
Lyew lived alone up to the time of his untimely death.
