Charged with murder is Delano Goodison, who was represented by defence attorney CJ Mitchell. The court heard that the accused engaged the now-deceased man in a conversation and a heated argument developed. The court further heard that the accused used a sharp implement to stab the now-deceased in the abdomen. He was later set upon by persons and had to be rescued by the police.
In a gang
In court, after hearing the allegations against Goodison, Senior Resident Magistrate (RM) Judith Pusey was informed that the accused allegedly belonged to a gang called the Colombian Necktie gang and that he would interfere with the witnesses in the matter.

However, Mitchell told RM Pusey that there was no basis for the Crown's case. The magistrate was not satisfied and ordered that Goodison be brought back to court today.
