A British citizen, who is in need of a kidney transplant, can now breathe easy knowing that his Jamaican-sibling donor, who was previously denied a visa to the UK, has arrived to save the day.
The Jamaican woman, Keisha Rushton, was originally denied a visa to the UK to help her younger brother, 38-year-old plumber, Oliver Cameron, by the Home Office.
Rushton, who arrived in London, England recently to donate one of her kidneys, reportedly told the BBC: "I am happy I've got the opportunity, after all the struggle to save my brother's life."
THE weekend STAR understands that doctors describe Cameron's sister as a perfect match for the transplant.
Cameron reportedly has kidney failure and undergoes dialysis three times a day. The siblings had their first hospital appointment yesterday.
Our news team gathered that Rushton's visa application was initially denied on the grounds that she may not return to Jamaica after the operation.
