The police say a manhunt is still on for two men who escaped from a maximum security facility on April 27. The men are 18-year-old Casheem Peart, otherwise called 'Nine Star' and 22-year-old Omar Creary.
Since week the police have renewed their appeal for the public to help in locating the prisoners who escaped from the Horizon Adult Remand Centre.
The police say Peart, who is from Church Lane district in St Thomas, is of brown complexion, slim build with a tattoo on his chest and shoulder and sports pierced ears.
Investigators say he was last seen dressed in a white merino and a pair of plaid shorts.
The police say Creary, who is from August Town, Kingston 6, is of brown complexion, six feet tall and has scars on his lower and upper arms.
Peart is charged with murder while Creary is currently serving a life sentence.
The police are reminding the public that it is an offence to harbour fugitives.
