Cop Taped Giving Oral sex - Video circulating in rural town

A video of a policeman giving a woman oral sex in a car in May Pen, Clarendon, has become the hot topic on the lips of almost everyone in the rural town.

The 18-minute-long video which began circulating last Wednesday, has become so popular that it has gone viral on social media and DVD copies have been made and are selling like hot bread in and around May Pen. The DVD reportedly costs $200.

Reports reaching THE STAR are that the policeman, a constable, who is well known in the town has hardly been seen in the area since the video went viral, much to the delight of many people, mostly vendors and transport operators. Many have complained of being targeted and verbally abused by the constable.

Vendors wasted no time in 'bunning out' the policeman, who many have now renamed Constable Namsterdom, apparently a spin off from deejay J-Amderstam who has publicly admitted to giving women oral sex.

"Him mek we can't sell in peace, everyday him come run we down, and you see what him go do? Tell him say come run we down now nuh," a vendor told THE STAR. "You see the boy tongue how it big and long. No sah, a no tongue that, a vacuum cleaner."

A colleague of the policeman complained that his indiscretions have brought the force into disrepute. "We can't even walk on the road without people a trouble we ... but a run them fi run wey that and make him go a him yard with him nastiness," the cop insisted.

The tape, which was reportedly made in a car parked at the May Pen Police Station, begins with the policeman issuing a number of orders to his female companion. "Mek sure you video me good enuh, mek sure," he ordered, at one point, while sticking out an enormous tongue in the direction of the camera.

After paying attention to the woman's breasts, the cop quickly sat down to 'eat' as the woman lets out a few moans. "You know say me a dog," the cop, who is reportedly married, declared.

The act was interrupted briefly when a curious intruder stumbled upon them, but they quickly resumed after the unashamed policeman raised his head and let off a string of bad words, before returning to the act.

The Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ) has issued an immediate recall for a batch of wall and standing fans that were imported under the brand name JSW.

The regulatory agency says during tests, the fans burnt severely because of the absence of a thermal fuse to regulate the heat generated while it is in operation.

And the BSJ says customers who have experienced any adverse reactions should immediately contact the Consumer Affairs Commission.

DEON P GREEN, Star Writer

A St Thomas bus conductor who has been accused of jumping through the window of a police station recently is to go on trial next month.

The accused man will appear in the Morant Bay Resident Magistrate's Court on July 28 for destruction of property.

When the accused man, 28-year-old Dwayne Panton, of a Morant Bay address appeared in court on June 25, the judge dismissed his explanation and set the trial date.

An informed source told THE STAR that it is being alleged that; "Him fly through the window and knock it out . Him land in the grass and was motionless for a while, then him get up, rush to the pipe to wash out his eyes. The police chased him and caught him again."

Panton told the court that at the time of the incident he was taken to the police station in handcuffs. He added that he was being roughed up and beaten with a baton. As for jumping through the window he said he could not tell what had happened as he was pepper sprayed by a policeman, "I can't accept your explanation," the judge said as she set the trial date.

Cops probe if ... MOM PIMPED 13-Y-O GIRL - Teen said to have had four abortions

André Williams, STAR Writer

The St Andrew North police are pursuing the mother of a teen after it was unearthed that she profited from her child being engaged in prostitution, which led to four abortions, THE STAR has learnt.

Information reaching our news desk is that the teen, now 17 years old, had been allegedly introduced to prostitution from as early as age 13, while living with her mother in Ocho Rios, St Ann.

Allegations are that the teen raised money for them both before moving to live with her father in a St Andrew community.

The WEEKEND STAR gathered that the teen developed serious complications and after seeking medical attention, she was told that because of the multiple abortions, it is unlikely that she would be able to have a child.

The doctor, The WEEKEND STAR was told, advised her to make a report to the police in relation to issues discussed during her visit with the medical practitioner.

Relatives also told our news team that the teen often spoke of committing suicide and was involved in incidents of misbehaving.

Reports are that these were among the deciding factors, which led her to talk about what she had been put through.

The teen subsequently went in to the police and made a report following which a warrant was activated and her mother is now being pursued.

When our news team contacted the St Andrew North police, a senior officer confirmed the reports and told The WEEKEND STAR that the file had been turned over to the Centre for The Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA).

Investigations are ongoing.

Madman paid $100 to have sex - Crowd watches him and homeless woman in downtown Kingston

A mentally ill man and a homeless woman were the 'stars' of a short pornographic film, which was done by the pair for only $100.

Another spectator quipped, "yuh nyam too much... that's why yuh ... lazy" as he continued to struggle to engage in intercourse with the woman.

But despite being at the centre of the spectacle, the woman appeared oblivious to what was happening to her, even as her 'co-star' attempted to rouse a response from her by attempting to remove the top of her dress, she was still unmoved.

The woman simply laid there quietly with her dress hiked to her knees, legs splayed with her hands resting on her stomach as the man did his bidding.

"Gi we back we $100, cause yuh ... nah stand up! Gi we back we ... money!" the man demanded.

Unwilling to relinquish his payment, the man made another feeble attempt to penetrate the woman, "yuh see mi ... a stand up?" to which an onlooker jeered, "yuh waa some Viagra! Dat nuh in deh!"

Horace Fisher, Star Writer

Police had to rescue an alleged chain thief from an angry mob which beat him mercilessly in May Pen, Clarendon, on Tuesday.

The alleged thief is accused of grabbing a woman chain on Main Street in May Pen and bolting off, but not before an alarm was raised and a mob gathered in hot pursuit.

The mob quickly caught up with the fleeing man on Anderson Drive and the beating started immediately before the suspected chain thief was rescued by a contingent of patrolling police, who cart him off in the direction of the May Pen Police Station.

An angry vendor, who was visibly upset at the police quick intervention, said that phone and chain grabbers are plaguing May Pen and driving fear into shoppers, who are afraid to take out their phones or display their jewellery.

Female thieves trick, rob motorists

Two women, pretending to have car issues, are reportedly attempting to rob unsuspecting motorists in the upscale community of Millsborough, St Andrew.

It is alleged that the women park on the side of the road in a burgundy motor car with the hazard lights on, pretending to have car issues.

The STAR spoke to one female motorist who was almost robbed last week after seeing the women in the motor car and stopping to them in a bid to provide assistance.

She claimed that one of the women stepped out of the motor vehicle and attempted to rob her but she sped off.

When The STAR contacted the Matilda's Corner Police Station they stated that they have received reports about a female in the community having car issues with a car fitting the description of the alleged robbers.

The officer told The STAR that they have so far received no reports of any robberies, but stated that he would not be surprised if it did happen.

"I wouldn't be surprised if that is true, the area is known for having wealthy people and people from all over tend to go to that community to rob people," the lawman said.

Confirmed buggery of St Andrew jogger

Crystal Harrison & Livern Barrett, Star Writers

The police have confirmed that they have now received a statement from the male jogger who was allegedly buggered by armed men in Queen Hill, St Andrew, close to two weeks ago.

Police sources said that the man gave a statement and the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) is leading the investigation.

The source also pointed out that they are also investigating a second incident, where it is alleged that a young boy was abducted and buggered in the same area.

It was recently reported that the male jogger was found naked by a group of persons with his hands and feet bound.

The incident gained a lot of traction in the media and widespread speculation that the male jogger wouldn't come forward to the police due to the stigma and shame attached to it.

There were also rumours that the jogger attempted suicide. The police, however, said that it remains a speculation that the man attempted to jump from a building at the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH).

Psychologist Dr Leahcim Semaj said males would be more reluctant to report being buggered, as it is a major form of embarrassment.

"Rape is the ultimate form of embarrassment and to report it is another level of embarrassment because some of these males run the risk of being ridiculed. These men are concerned about reporting these things to persons who are not trained to deal with sensitive and confidential issues. Rape is an act of violence, but it's more humiliation and it puts men in a situation that is very hard to recover from," Semaj said.

For more rape victims to come forward, especially men, Semaj said that it must be clear in persons minds that there are systems to handle matters of confidentiality.

NFPB warns of exposing boys to pornographic images

The National Family Planning Board (NFPB) is urging parents to be more mindful of exposing boys to pornographic material at a tender age.

Speaking at a Jamaica Information Service (JIS) 'Think Tank' recently, NFPB Chairman, Dr Sandra Knight, said research shows that early exposure to pornography has a negative impact on brain development in boys, also resulting in them being less likely to complete healthy relationships with females later.

Healthy Sexual Interactions

"We are concerned about the rise in pornography addictions. It is seen by many Jamaican males as an acceptable viewing choice for their boys and we have found that this is a dangerous practice," Knight is quoted as saying in a release sent to The STAR. "We find that our young male teenagers are not being as healthy in their social interaction with girls. Fathers need to substitute healthy positive interactions for the heavy pornographic and sexual images which are already all around."

Further, Knight shared that research found that males in the 19-24 age range are the largest number of persons infected with HIV, urging parents to talk to their children about safeguarding themselves against Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs).

"A significant number of those infected are males of various sexual orientations and the age group indicates that they are getting infected in their teenage years," she said.

Women brawlers to go to trial

Christopher Thomas, STAR Writer

WESTERN BUREAU:

A St James teacher who got into a fight with another last month, will stand trial in the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate's Court on September 23.

Shanel Clarke, from Montego Bay, had previously pleaded guilty with explanation to assault occasioning actual bodily harm against Samoya Lightbody, and both were ordered to attend mediation sessions. However, the case was set for trial after mediation was unsuccessful.

It is alleged that sometime last month, Clarke scratched Lightbody's face and bit her, causing injuries. Yesterday, Lightbody told presiding magistrate Wilson Smith that she was not satisfied with the suggestions that Clarke had made regarding restitution, at the mediation sessions.

"I wanted her (Clarke) to pay $30,000, she said she could only pay $20,000, and she wants to take two years to pay me my doctor bill. I am not comfortable with that," said Lightbody.

But Clarke disputed the claim, saying they had come to an agreement at mediation. It was subsequently revealed that the agreement entailed Clarke paying a monthly sum of $1000, which RM Smith promptly shot down.

"I agree with her (Lightbody), to pay $1000 a month is crazy," said RM Smith. "The matter is set for trial on September 23. In the meantime, if you can find money to pay, then you can come to a different settlement."

Man tells court ... DOCTOR OFFERED ME MONEY FOR SEX

Despite telling the court that he stabbed a doctor in self-defence, after the medical practitioner offered him money for sex, George Phillips was sent to prison.

"Mi never do it fi fame, Your Honour, di doctor did a bring gay argument to me," the accused told the court.

Phillips, 27, has been charged with unlawful wounding.

Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey sentenced the accused to two years in prison after he pleaded guilty in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court last Friday.

The accused was previously remanded for psychiatric evaluation and was deemed fit to plea to the serious offence.

Allegations are that the accused showed up at the complainant's place of work when an argument developed. It is alleged that the accused left and then returned to the complainant's office where he used a knife to stab the doctor in his neck.

Before Phillips was sentenced, he told RM Pusey that he had contracted a sexual transmitted disease and that was his purpose for being at the complainant's office.

"Your Honour, mi girlfriend give me a disease and some little rash come upon mi. So mi go to di doctor and him a offer mi any amount of money for sex. Mi did have to defend myself and give him di knife in his neck," Phillips said.

The court heard that the accused had showed up at the doctor's office pretending that he was there for a follow-up visit, however, the doctor told the police that he was seeing Phillips for the first time.

Eight years delay in murder case concerns judge

Rasbert Turner, STAR Writer

The long delay of a murder trial has not gone unnoticed by Justice Lennox Campbell who expressed concerns about the case that has been on the St Catherine Circuit Court's roster for more than eight years.

The views were expressed in the murder case of Vema Duhaney, whose headless body was found on March 19, 2006 in bushes in Sligoville, St Catherine.

"The case has been on the roster for a number of years and it needs to start. Therefore, by Wednesday, I expect solid reasons to go forward," Justice Campbell said.

Defence attorney, Valrie Neita-Robertson, had asked that the matter be put off until October, but the court would have none of it.

Meanwhile, investigating officer Detective Inspector Derrick Ball told the court that the witnesses have always been present.

Richard Duhaney's bail was extended until Wednesday and the witnesses were bound over.

Richard Duhaney was brought before the court following a thorough investigation by police which alleged that he killed his wife.

The investigators have tendered DNA and other scientific evidence.

He has maintained his innocence throughout his numerous court appearances.
