Two teenagers were remanded on Friday in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court, where they appeared to answer to a robbery charge.
The teens, ages 14 and 18, are charged with robbery with aggravation.
The younger teen entered a not-guilty plea, while his older accomplice pleaded guilty.
Allegations are that on May 29, the two, armed with a ratchet knife, held up the complainant and robbed her of her BlackBerry cell phone.
On the advice of a guardian, the younger teen was remanded by Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey at the Metcalfe Street Juvenile Remand Centre, where he will receive psychiatric evaluation.
The 18-year-old was also remanded and a fingerprint order made. Sentencing will be on June 24.
