Two of three St Catherine men charged with killing a man and placing his body in separate suitcases were again remanded when they appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court on Thursday.

They are brothers André and Oshane Love of Newland, Portmore, St Catherine. The third accused, Paul Hendricks, is among seven prisoners who escaped from the police recently.

They are charged with the murder of Germain Green of Cumberland, Portmore, St Catherine.

When the case was mentioned before Resident Magistrate Llyle Armstrong, bail was denied.

They were remanded after their lawyer made a lengthy bail application citing that the men have being languishing in custody.

Allegations are that on May 12, 2012, the brothers abducted Green in the Newland community.

He was never seen again until his dismembered body was found in two suitcases on May 28, 2012.

An investigation was launched which resulted in the arrest of Hendricks and the Love brothers in Kingston in November 2014.

All three men were charged with murder by Detective Sergeant Euclid Mendez of the Portmore police.

The matter will again be mentioned on April 14.
