The St Mary man charged with last month's murder of his three-year-old daughter, Crystal Coleman, has been remanded.
Dwight Coleman was ordered remanded when he appeared in the Port Maria Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday morning.
He was charged on Wednesday after the St Mary police received the results of a post-mortem.
Head of the police in the parish, Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, says the results showed that Crystal died from shock and hemorrhaging as a result of severe injuries to her body.
She says the injuries were consistent with beating.
The child's body was found on January 21, in the home she shared with her father in the district of Frontier.
The child was reportedly last seen in the company of her father.
