A man accused of using his partially amputated arm to hit a woman had his bail extended when he appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
Charged with assault occasioning bodily harm is Michael Fagan.
The Crown alleged that Fagan got into an altercation with both his niece and grandniece who appeared in court. They allegedly went back and forth on a number of family issues resulting in him assaulting his niece.
"Him punch me in my face and punch me in my chest with his nook," Fagan's niece explained.
"Your Honour, she tell me fi come ... ," the accused interjected before going on to plainly declare abusive language used to him.
"Alright, how we going solve this now?" asked Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey.
Further explaining the matter, Fagan added: "Is like everybody want control, so this is just a settings fi make mi go a prison and them take over the house."
Subsequently, Fagan had his bail extended until July 24 pending sentencing.
