Man pleads guilty to receiving stolen vehicle

One of four men charged in connection with a motor vehicl stolen in Kingston, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property and larceny of a motor vehicle when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court recently.

Wordsworth Gordon, was jointly charged with Oneil Wallace, Sheldon Richards and Ramon Wallace on the same charges


All four are to return to court on April 16, when the matter will be mentioned and Gordon sentenced.


Allegations are that, on March 18, the complainant parked his van at a plaza in Cross Roads, St Andrew, and later returned to find the vehicle missing.


The court heard the matter was brought to the attention of the police and, within an hour, the accused men were found on a premises in the parish scrapping the van.


They were subsequently arrested and all pleaded guilty except, Gordon.
