Less than two years after walking away as the winner of American talent show, 'The Voice', sources say that artiste Tessanne Chin and husband Michael Cuffe Jr, are having marital problems.
The couple, who got married in 2011 and would have celebrated their fourth anniversary yesterday, are said to have recently separated.
According to the sources close to the couple, Cuffe has left the marital home and is currently staying with a friend.
THE WEEKEND STAR was unable to establish what has caused the issues in the couple's marriage.
Just last year, Tessanne surprised Cuffe with a cake and a song for his birthday. She also dedicated the song My Kind Of Love by Emelie Sande to her husband, while performing it on The Voice.
The couple would have celebrated their fourth anniversary yesterday, but up until news time, neither had acknowledged it on social media.
This was not the case last year as both took to social media to profess their undying love and devotion. In last year's post, Chin wrote: 'what a journey we've had my love. I look forward to the amazing adventures we have ahead of us'. He followed up with 'I could never have asked for three more perfect years of my life, and I owe them all to this woman right here, happy anniversary my love.'
When contacted, a representative from Tessanne's team told THE WEEKEND STAR that they would contact her for a comment and get back to us. Similarly yesterday, when THE WEEKEND STAR spoke to Cuffe, he stated that he was driving and that we should call him in a few minutes. However, subsequent calls to both went unanswered.
