The United States Coast Guard has seized 4,100 pounds (1,863 kilograms) of marijuana after intercepting a vessel south of Jamaica.
It says the drugs have a value of US$3.7 million, and had been offloaded at the Coast Guard Base in Miami Beach.
According to the Coast Guard, it retrieved 103 bales of the drug during the operation.
The commanding officer aboard the Paul Clarke, Lieutenant Lloyd Belcher, says the find is a great achievement, which highlights what the Coast Guard's newest cutter can do to help fight the illegal drug trade in the region.
